Preparations for demounting the keel

Two heavy-lift cranes

Due to the 12-metre R-Yacht ’s extreme weight of 24 tons, we needed two special cranes to demount the keel.

Here you can see the special low-loader for the keel being pushed into position.

Our own cranes

Two of the shipyard’s own cranes were put to use:
A portal crane with a 16 ton load capacity and a mobile crane with a 30 ton load capacity.
