Here you can see the multi-layered construction of the keelson. The individual parts were carefully glued together.

This remake was made using the original parts as models as well as the original drawings from 1928.
All completed new parts were given six undercoats.

The old keel base was carefully reassembled. It now serves as a model and remains next to the new keel base until the latter is finished.
