Hatch Also the areas around the hatches were built particularly stable. Parts of the bulkheads have already been fitted onto some of the deck beams, as you can see on the lower cross beam in the left part of the picture as well as on the middle small cross piece on the right. |

Details Here you can nicely make out the precise work on the individual wooden parts. The joints are just exactly big enough so that the varnish and glue can still be applied. The lower longitudinal wood beams were fitted slightly offset to the upper ones so that the cross beam is not weakened in any one place, but rather all parts optimally enhance one another to achieve the maximum load distribution. |
