Perfect fitting joints

So that the new joint will hold permanently, both of the joining parts are sawn out exactly and fitted flush together.

Sealed and screwed

Sealed and screwed

Additionally, the deck beams are screwed and sealed to the beam clamp and the additional parts. For this, first the holes are drilled using as drill, then short wood screws are screwed in for fastening and then screwed out again. This is because before all of the parts can be joined together tightly with resin, each individual part needs to be varnished. Finally, long bronze screws are used to join them together.
